In the name of Allah, most Gracious , most Compassionate".
All praise is for Allah. We praise Him, seek His assistance and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils within our souls and those of our deeds. Whomever Allah guides, there is none who can misguide him; and whomever Allah misguides there is none who can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah Alone; and I bear witness that Mohammad is His servant and Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
aisha was the daughter of Abu Bakr, the closest friend of prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him). The role of aisha (Allah be pleased with her) in Islam was very important as she can memorize many hadiths from prophet Muhammad. She is quoted as source for many hadith. She narrated 2210 hadiths out of which 316 hadiths are mentioned in both Sahih al-Bukhari and sahih Muslim.
Unfortunately, although no one can deny the role of The Mother of Believers, Aisha, in Islam, there are many unbelievers talk about her as a child wife of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Moreover, they have many evidences from sunnah to prove that prophet Muhammad married aisha in age of nine. For Example, Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64 Narrated 'Aisha: that the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death
Unbelievers think that the marriage of prophet Muhammad from aisha is shameful act, but they can not understand that there are many reasons and justifications for this marriage. First of all, prophet Muhammad married aisha as a result of a suggestion from Khawla bint Hakim after the death of Muhammad's first wife, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid because he hoped to strengthen his ties with Abu Bakr by marriage his daughter.
Secondly, the physical nature of female in the old Arabian Desert is different from the physical nature of female nowadays. The female in the past can marry in a young age and also can be responsible for children | |
